A client kindly introduced me as a ‘breath of fresh air’
this morning. I’ve been positively
glowing (no, not gloating!) ever since.
I love my job and get paid for doing it, so I’m on a win/win
already, so the fact that my clients are pleased with my work is the icing on
the cake.Just because you’re the CEO or Finance Director of a business, doesn’t automatically make you a marketing expert. So why not employ one, it’s taken me 25 years to hone my craft and I’m still learning new things every day.
I worked for advertising agencies for nearly 15 years
helping clients with their marketing. Since having kids 12 years ago, I switched to helping businesses as a
consultant. They get access to exactly
the same level of expertise but without paying agency rates.
I never tire of seeing good marketing make a difference. The trick is working out how? For every business it's different. Ultimately it's not about spending more but getting cleverer at it.I nearly forgot, as well as marketing consultant, I'm a mummy, writer, dog walker, runner (although husband classes me as a "shuffler") and chief washer upper!

ReplyDeleteLike the blogs and looking forward to more installments.
I reckon you should put your name more prominently up front.
Cheers
